About Us
"The National English Honors Society (NEHS), founded and sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, is the only international organization exclusively for high school students and faculty who, in the field of English, merit special note for past and current accomplishments. Individual high schools are invited to petition for a local chapter, through which individuals may be inducted into Society membership. Immediate benefits of affiliation include international recognition, scholarship eligibility, and opportunities for international networking with others who share enthusiasm for, and accomplishment in, the language arts."
The Chamblee National English Honors Society similarly seeks to recognize students with enthusiasm, passion, or accomplishment in the language arts, foster high school student's interest in literature, and provide a platform for students' creative writing.

We plan to organize drives/donations and facilitate events such as slam poetry readings and other events to encourage students to read more actively and explore unfamiliar literature. Similarly, the club will collaborate with the Et-Cetera Literary Magazine to publish student creative writing submissions and literature-related content. We will feature one submission each month on our website or on our Instagram.
